FKT: the sicko

Edvardmunch

I’ve been under the weather recently. I’m usually quite healthy so this bout with sickness the past couple months is really starting to annoy me. What does one do to combat that icky feeling? Well put on some of your spouse’s accessories and snap a picture. It changes everything. Well it is Thursday and that means there’s a slight chance I might dress up like a freak and post a Fully Klothed Thurdsday photo. I hope you’re all doing much better than I am, health wise. Mentally, I’m sharp!

ARTICLES OF KLOTHING: 1) Gap zip sweater 2) rainbow-ish knit gloves 3) rainbow-ish knit cap 4) boxer briefs 5) pants 6) stylish sunglasses/sunnies 7) gray scarf 8) socks 9) Late Night with David Letterman t-shirt

PROPS: five o’clock shadow

*Dull FKT Disclaimer – Feel free to mock or copy this crap idea of mine if you want. Don’t feel obligated to do this thing every Thursday and shit. Don’t fret, I won’t send harassing emails to you on a weekly basis demanding you post some hot picture on your blog. That’s way too much work for me and besides, I find reading other blogs boring. I try and spend as little time as possible reading and/or commenting on blogs. I prefer to spread my love for random people in other ways. I don’t feel like delving into those sorts of details pubicly on my blog. Gnome sane?

I hope you feel better quick! We all just had the flu and still have some sickness lingering in the house. The kids seem to stay home one day and then go back to school the next. Unfortunately it is all on seperate days so I am stuck at home!

  2. tori says:

Also, you look hot in all that stuff. I love when you do this!

  3. tori says:

I would comment on my ability to be first, but since the internet seems all quiet right now, I don’t feel it is much of an accomplishment.

  4. tori says:

Let’s go for an even 4 comments from me.
Have a great day…I’ll try not to drink a lot of coffee next time before I comment!

  5. Sicilian Mama says:

    Oooh! And “F”! Sweet.
I’ve been sick, too. Stupid congestion and low-grade fevers.
I like the flower on the side of the hat. Very stylish.

  6. brookem says:

    Hope you’re feeling better, friend.
    You call sunglasses “sunnies?”

  7. Well aren’t you so pretty! Love the wife’s accessories! And love the post too!

  8. JLee says:

I was wondering what happened to you! I can only picture what you’re wearing on your feet. A nice pair of stilettos perhaps?

  9. Kerry says:

It’s very lovely on you 😉

  10. Amanda says:

    LOL! You look very nice!
    Hope you’re feeling better soon.

  11. Cheryl says:

You look great. Hope you’re feeling great soon.

  12. M says:

    You are certifiable. Really.
Glad to see ze blog is back up and running.

  13. naynayfazz says:

That description of what you are wearing sounds very club kid like. I am picturing techno music playing while you were typing that. UNZ UNZ UNZ UNZ UNZ (That is my techno music sound)
    Feel bettah……

Tori – I’m really fed up with the whole sick thing. I wish I knew I’d be so sick as a parent. With four kids you must never get a break from illness this time of year. I do look hot don’t I? The good thing is you can say that and not mean anything kinky by it. Well done.
Tori – I think it’s great when you comment this often. It shows your dedication to a blog. Coffee is good. Blogging is good. Being sick, not good.
Sicilian Mama – sorry to hear about the sickness. Thankfully I’ve avoided any other symptoms, but this cough is one bitch to shake.
Brookem – for the Australians who might happen to read this blog, they are commonly referred to as “sunnies” in the land of Mad Max and kangaroos. I’m sure they love those two associations.
Essentially Me – you love the post? There’s not much to it. The bottom part, Dull FKT warning, is something I almost always include with my FKT photos. Not always, but usually. Thank you though. I spent about three minutes finding the clothes.
Diane Mandy – thank you. I sure hope it happens soon. I can’t keep up this pace of bathroom visits, oops… tmi?
JLee – nope, I was barefoot at the time. I would have a really tough time fitting into my wife’s size 6 shoes.
Kerry – thank you, I love the hat on her. It looks alright on me, but she should be the one to wear it from here on out.
Amanda – I sure as hell hope I am better soon too. Were you sick often after Aaron was born?
Cheryl – good thing I didn’t apply any foundation or mascara. Thanks, I’m fixin’ to go to bed and rest up.
    M – hey, that’s just not true. I’m sane.
Naynayfazz – I hear the music, do you see me dancing? if so, look away… it’s dangerous to watch me dance to techno. I do love some good emo music.

  15. Cléa says:

And I don’t want to delve into any discussion on spreading random love pubicly either, who knows what one may find there.

  16. Nilsa S. says:

I know this will sound unbelievable, but it’s true. I started reading your post and went into a sneezing fit. I fear you’re contagious and shouldn’t blog for a bit, m’kay? Nice hat and matching gloves, though.

  17. By “post” I meant “picture”. Sorry I didn’t clarify that.

  18. Gwen says:

What? Your wife wears boxer briefs?
    Oh, right *accessories.*

  19. L says:

Sick for 2 months? Get used to it. I hear having kids makes you prone to every single cold and flu bug out there, especially if your kid’s in day care. Get thee to Costco for some Airborne!

  20. egan says:

Cléa – random public love will get you nowhere fast.
Nilsa – if you had a coughing attack then you could blame me. A sneeze right now would be a welcome relief.
Essentially Me – aw, now I get it. Thanks for the clarification. Have a good weekend.
Gwen – nah, she wears boy shorts. Yes, accessories dammit! Pay attention before I go ballistic.
Pants – great colors I must confess. Much cuter on her than me.
L – well they say the first year of daycare is rough and then after that your body can handle anything. We’ll have to see about this. Oh, didn’t you hear about Airborne losing a lawsuit for $23 million? That stuff has never been proven to work.

  21. Amanda says:

I was sick all the time. Had to stop all my vitamins and cut out a lot of foods because of the breastfeeding (he was REALLY sensitive) and I think that really ruined my immune system. Probably that and the lack of sleep. I’m back on the vitamins now and trying to really balance my diet so hopefully I’ll get back to normal soon.

  22. Maggie says:

FKT is back! Life is complete. Truly.

  23. egan says:

Amanda – thanks for answering my question. It gives me some relief to know other parents went through the same thing. I’m sure that sounds a bit awful, but there’s strength in numbers.
Maggie – you are a funny one Loveur de toutes les choses Bell Canada.

  24. Chris says:

Tori in the house with 4 on top – nice! I am loving this raibow-ish-ness.
    Feel better fella.

  25. scarlet hip says:

I’ve had three flus this year. One where I couldn’t stop coughing, one where I couldn’t swallow, and one where I couldn’t stop barfing. It’s been a miserable winter.
    Hope you’re feeling better…and shit.

  26. Steph says:

Purple really is your colour. Hope you feel better soon.

  27. egan says:

Chris – I feel wonderful provided I have a Ricola in my mouth. That sounds a bit wrong… or maybe it’s just in my head. Tori has mad blogging skills.
Scarlet Hip – seriously, it’s been awful. I’m sorry you suffered through something similar. I wouldn’t wish this cold on anyone. Let’s hope spring improves things.
Steph – it’s the colour of my college too so that’s a nice compliment of yours. I will be better soon, I have to be.

  28. SSC says:

Try drinking some water from San Fran. Go to Joe’s page to find out more.

  29. egan says:

SSC – you’re referring me to Joe’s site? huh, very interesting. I’ve heard about this drinking water study.
